December 09, 2011 - Submissions open for cosplay music video!

I know what you are thinking. It’s been like, a million years since I released Costume Play and made promises of a music video. Unfortunately I am too poor to do what I really want to with it. But that means that more of you will actually be able to participate in it!

What I need is for you to video yourself in a costume. You can be dancing/lip-syncing to THE TRACK, strolling down the street, or doing something in character. Here is a list of costumes I’d like to include in the video:

Any Cowboy Bebop costumes

Any Sailor Moon costumes

Any Naruto costumes

Tony Stark - Iron Man

Ron and Hermione from Harry Potter

Vash the Stampede

Spike from Buffy the Vampire Slayer

Any Gundam costumes

However, any cosplay outfit is fine! All you need to do is take a video (30 seconds to a few minutes long at the most), zip it up, and then email it to: ginny (at) ginnymcqueen.com with the subject “Music Video Submission”! And that’s it! I’ll be sending a release for everyone to sign once it’s edited. We will try to use every submission, but we may not be able to. Feel free to email me with any questions. Remember to be creative!

The deadline for submissions is now January 31, 2011!
