So I’ve been sitting on this track for months waiting for when I’d be able to shoot the music video. So I figured I would release it out into the world and then hope the video can still be done for Dragon*con. (I don’t have the time or money right now!) Please have a listen. This is meant to be a joke (just in case you missed that part) about cosplayers and how silly all of this really is. There are few things I enjoy more than making fun of myself.

March 22, 2011 - Have you seen The Hatch?

All-Con was this past weekend, and I’m sad it’s over! The fans there were amazing and made me feel so welcome. Shout-outs to Todd for putting on a great convention! And to Richard Hatch and Neil Kaplan for hanging out and being cool.

There are just so many crazy projects going on right now, I don’t know where to start! So I’ll start with catching up on sleep so I can be more coherent later.

March 09, 2011 - To The Past

I got some of my old home movies on DVD. Watching things like my birthday party where I had a T-Rex birthday cake and screamed about Micro Machines made me realize how I haven’t really changed much since the 80’s. In fact, you could probably pick my baby photos out of a line up and identify me. I never looked like a generic baby like most people do. Instead I strangely look like me. So here’s the clips. I’ll have more to talk about such as All-Con later.

February 08, 2011 - Past Geekness - TMNT Style

So I found a couple old photos from my old-old-old-old computer. I’m not sure how I even still have them. But I still think they are hilarious and what better day than Seth Green’s birthday to post a comic made from action figures? So have my weirdness from back around ‘04. I made it with love. I’m still just as weird, I promise. Excuse the size, they were made when screen resolution was much different.

January 25, 2011 - I’m a douche!

This Sunday I got to be a part of the new Garfunkel & Oates music video for “This Party Took a Turn for the Douche” where I got to put on some horrible make-up and hooker boots and dance like a slut. Fun! Anything in the name of comedy, yeah? Also the people I made friends with at the shoot were super nice and geeky. Plus I was grateful to meet Kate Micucci herself, so cute/nice in person. Was glad I finished watching Bored to Death the previous week (btw, great show, find a way to watch it).

I also made some good progress after a couple set-backs in getting everything ready for my own video project shooting next month. So in case you forgot, here’s the casting call again!

I need some cosplayers for a video project filming in Los Angeles next month (February, on a weekend)! I need a Spike from Buffy, a Ron from Harry Potter, and a Vash from Trigun. I’ll also need some others as well so if you have a costume from a popular anime, sci-fi show, comic, or the like - email me at ginny (at) ginnymcqueen.com with a photo of you in your costume!

Horrible migraine today, but excited to get to work on lots of things once my head feels better. <3!
