Happy Valentine’s Day everyone! Or Happy Chinese New Year. Either way, I hope you eat lots of chocolate! Rob is making me steak tonight. I really wish I had it in me to be vegetarian. I just love meat so much. I can’t help myself!

I’ll be shooting my April O’Neil costume tomorrow. I am very excited to have photos of it. And when is a bright, yellow jumpsuit not stylish? I’m sure I’ll be bringing April with me to Dragon*con. There are more old people like me to appreciate it there.

Anyway, I’ll be updated again soon so check back. I’ll be sure to try and actually blog in this thing as well. I just have so much going on and never any time to do anything but the occasional twitter/facebook post. Oh, and thanks to all who tuned in to my radio interview the other day on “Fanbase”. <3

Walky Talky

So I had a post written up before but then my computer restarted itself. Joy! Anyway, in case you missed it before, here is the link to my interview on 91.8 The Fan. I’ll also be doing an interview for another radio station sometime next week so I’ll post more info on that when I have it.

Right now I’m just working on tons of stuff. Regular work, project work, costume work. No days off! But that’s okay, I like staying busy. I’ll post more later!

Productivity

So I went crazy this month and have been getting costume work done left and right. I have 4 or 5 costumes waiting for final touches. I think three of them will be done this week or next. Crazy, right? Unfortunately my internet has been in and out all week, so I haven’t been able to do much else.

Last week I sent out a bunch of valentines, signed prints, and magnets to the members of my Facebook. So if you care about stuff like that, or want more updated about me in general you should join it or my Twitter.

My one radio interview should be up sometime. I’ll let you know when it is. I also have another radio interview coming up in a couple weeks so I’ll let you know when that is.

Well, my internet has gone out 6 times while typing this, so have some silly photos of me that I took while waiting. I’ll update again soon!

Wow, lots of messages/emails about my migraine/health issues. Allow me to answer with these awesome pictures from my MRI films.

The first one shows the little cyst that was suspect. I was at first concerned it might turn out to be something else and/or I’d need brain surgery. But it’s just a benign cyst that shouldn’t bother me. The second one shows how the inside (not the outside!) of my nose is messed up and causes sinus/breathing problems. It also shows the huge thing in my sinuses that might need surgery. But I won’t know until I finish with a month of medical treatment. Unfortunately we won’t know what will help with my migraines until we take care of everything else to see if that is the cause or not. Oh, and the third was just the freakiest one on the films. Look at my eyes! Creepy! I’m going to have these films framed or something because they are awesome.

Anyway, as far as I know I’m not getting surgery in the near future. I’ll know more in a month or so. Until then I just hope these new meds help with my migraines! 

At least I have my health… sort of.

Well I just got back from the neurologist today. The awesome news is that I don’t need brain surgery for the thing they found when they scanned my head. The bad news is that I might need surgery on my nose/sinuses because of a cyst in my sinuses and my deviated septum. But I won’t know until more scans and tests are done. At least no one will be poking in my brain. That was a scary thought!

All my health issues have made doing anything besides work pretty hard. But I’m determined to get things done. I’m also determined to stay in a good mood despite the massive amounts of negativity going around lately. I wish everyone could chill out and focus on the good stuff in their life.

One thing that I love to do is to help out with a charity. My charity of choice is Sea Turtle Research and Conservation. I have a crazy love of turtles (in case you didn’t know). But of course the most pressing issue at the moment is the crisis in Haiti. Doctors Without Borders is a great organization trying to help as many victims as they can. So do some donating, it’s a good thing to do and it makes you feel good.

I should have some more updates later in the week. I can probably give a list of the costumes I’m working on and some other upcoming projects. Until then try to spread some good vibes. <3
