Who would think the color magenta would cause this much of a headache? I’m going to have to custom color a wig (or 2 wigs and some extensions). It’s gonna take forever! Oh the pains of accurate cosplay! I’m working on a lot of costumes at once right now. Sometimes I get in modes where I can’t think of any costumes I want to do, and then other times I get a wave of tons of things I want to work on. So in the next month I should have a couple new costumes. I’ve been oddly motivated.
Health-wise, I haven’t been so great. I was diagnosed with a heart murmur that might get to be an issue to the point that I might need heart surgery. So far it’s fine now, and the doctor gave me the ok to continue on as normal, even with going to the gym. I also have had unusually bad migraine headaches, and had to switch pain meds. My skin thing is slowly clearing, but isn’t gone yet. I think I’m going to find yet another Dermatologist. I’m such a frail little thing!
I’m not sure I’ll have time again to update before New Years, so I wanted to give a little recap. I know most people are always excited for a new year to come, hoping it will be better than the last. But for me 2008 has been my best year ever. Sure my health hasn’t been as great, but I physically look better than I ever have. I’ve been happy, met someone I love more than anything, kept my job and wonderful friends, and am finally starting to feel like I’m getting somewhere with my life. While I of course look forward to doing more great things, I loved this year. It was great to me.
I’m looking forward to working hard in the coming months and traveling when I can. Hope to see some of you soon!
It’s been snowing all day! Yuck! Though kind of lucky for me since I woke up sick today. Two excuses not to work are better than one. I actually went outside for a minute to check it out. You can view the video of it to your right, or just click here to watch.
I feel like there was more I was going to say, but the wanting to puke has made me loose all my thoughts. Oh well. OH! I did put another photo up in the modeling section.

It’s raining and just plain ugly here in Vegas today, so of course my allergies are going crazy. I’m all sniffy and puffy. I’ve been wanting to make a vblog for a while, but I just haven’t found the strength to yet. I’ve been getting over various degrees of sick and drug-reactions. Not exactly my idea of fun. Plus winter has finally settled in so combine that all together and you have a grumpy, lazy girl. Luckily I have Rob who takes good care of me.
Nothing else but slow progress on stuff now. I feel like I’ll be hibernating this winter, toiling away and hoping to have something to show for it by the end. I have a few trips planned so I do want to stay on schedule. But who wants to work when you are huddled on your couch watching Dr. Who? I blame David Tennant for my lack of work ethic. Though to be fair, I am at the office right now working.
Lots of random things going on. I forgot to mention last time that I got an email from a friend of mine in Philly who I had lost touch with. I was very glad to hear from him and hope he moves out of there soon! I may be in Philly sometime in the spring to visit and do some photos. I also talked to my super-pal Dorian who is going to be coming back over to the west coast, so hopefully I will get to hang out with him (and swipe my copy of FF7!).
Slow progress on my new costumes (Samantha and Romeo from Vagrant Story) but I can’t do anything this week because Rob’s parents are in town for Thanksgiving. I can’t make any messes.
This is going to be the most random post every made. Now let me tell you about my boobs. They have a secret. Because of my birth control, my boobs go from a large B cup, to a C cup every month. It’s pretty awesome. But right now they are maxed out so my bras don’t fit as well. Woe is me!

So, yeah. In closing, if you look closely on this webcam pic, you can see the crappy skin rash thing I still have on my forehead. It is supposedly a reaction to the other meds I was on for the skin rash. LOL. I don’t ever wear makeup unless I am in costume or something, so you must deal with my ugliness. I make stupid faces.
