Hi! I’m Ginny.
I built my first website when I was 14 years old (and don’t you dare do the math) and started on the very geeky path of cosplay and conventions in 1998. I have since mastered the convention scene I now make a living online doing a number of nerdy things. You aren’t going to find me wearing high heels or a pant suit – I take just as much pride in my work as I do in being myself.
Having been cosplaying for 17 years, I have been a convention guest all over the US as well as in Japan, Italy, Germany, Russia, Chile, Mexico, Austria, Canada, the UK, and the UAE. I’ve been featured in magazines, online publications, and on television (including G4, MTV, and Fuji TV in Japan) for my costuming and modeling around the world.
Meeting with fans and friends in the community is one of my favorite things to do. I have a unique insight into the convention and cosplay culture. I also work as a consultant to conventions on running cosplay competitions and lend my expertise as a judge for many of these events.
I also host as well as produce/edit The Drunken Metaphysical podcast. The premise sort of speaks for itself, but yeah. We drink and talk about weird stuff, and people really like listening to it!
I have my own channel where I talk about my life, my travels, all sorts of things including mental health, feminism, and why cats are the greatest animals on earth.
I was a theatre major, so I sometimes end up in other people’s videos as well. You can check those out here.
And All That Jazz
I also write blogs, do the occasional modeling, and am really a Jill-of-all-Trades. I’ve cultivated a bit of a following online, but I really like to refer to them as friends more than fans. <3
