I am super-excited to be working on a costume project that I’ve wanted to do for years and years. It’s so refreshing to not have a deadline, and to just go home and be able to work on every little detail that I want. I don’t expect to be done for quite some time, as this is a two-costume project with lots and lots of armor. But I’m really enjoying having this time to chill and make stuff how and when I want. I’ve made my favorite Anime and Manga characters, so now it’s on to my favorite video game.
My birthday is in a few weeks, and I’ll be in LA for that weekend doing photoshoots and attending a wedding. Fun times!
I know I say this a lot, but there will be lots of updates coming soon. In the mean time, keep yourselves busy and be sure to watch the presidential debate tonight! Obama/Biden FTW!

Wow a lot has happened since Dragon*con. Had a last-minute trip to Chicago, did some modeling for some phone company thing (woo I can pay for gas for a couple weeks!), cleaned some of my house (it’s already messy again), finished a costume, and have now started a new one. Add in there going to work, being sick as hell for a week, and some allergy fun and you have the makings of a great couple of weeks! I’ll have lots of updates coming with costumes and photos soon.
Today, Rob and I went up to Mt. Charleston which is a 30-45 minute drive (depending on who’s driving) from here in Vegas. It’s pretty amazing to go from 100 degree heat here in the desert to a forest full of pine trees and cool breezes in such a short amount of time. You can stand on a pile of pine cones and see the desert in the distance. It’s wacky.
I know there’s more I was going to say but I’m so tired I need a nap and some food.
So anyway here’s some pictures from our day trip. The first picture here though is from a couple weeks ago when there was a huge rainbow outside from it raining. Girl in pajama pants + cat+ rainbow. It’s art.

Well, Dragon*con is over. I had a great time and will have some crazy pictures from the TCF - BSG Party later. Right now I have a new costume up since I only have a few pictures right now. It’s Cleopatra from HBO’s Rome. And here’s a really bad con pic of Rob in I in our costumes. LOL! I’ll update more later!

I just finished uploading pictures from Japan, including my trip to the Ghibli Museum. I LOVE Ghibli and Miyazaki films in particular, so it was just fantastic. I almost cried. Seriously. So check those out here as well as the rest of the Cosplay.com party pictures from the karaoke fun.
