I keep meaning to put up a new video blog and I never do. I’m so lazy! Thanks to everyone who sent me well-wishes about my skin ailment. It has now been contained to just my forehead (great, I know). The new dermatologist I saw was very nice so I’m hoping to soon be better. Also though, my regular doctor found what seems to be a heart murmur, so I’m scheduled for testing in a couple weeks. I’m falling apart in my old age. So sad!

I wanted to remind you guys if you haven’t already to check out Fandomania.com and bookmark it. Because I said so.

Today I got my 00 tattoo touched up, and also got a new tattoo! It’s actually just something to go over a birthmark that I had. Funny, this tattoo hurt way more than my others. I have a sensitive ass! I figured since there was already a mark there, I might as well do something. It’s just a little heart, in case you can’t tell by the fuzzy photos. Sorry for the blurriness and the fact that my mirror looks like it has something on it. LOL!

Happy Birthday Rob! You are so old! I loves me some old men.

Today we went out for breakfast and their credit card machine or computer or something wasn’t working. So we’re standing there holding up the line while they are calling numbers trying to fix it. The guy behind us decided to pay for our breakfast since he had cash! Maybe he was just annoyed, but it was very nice of him. Everyone should perform some random acts of kindness today. I’m going to go find something as well.

I have yet another doctor appointment next week. I’m really hoping this one doesn’t suck like the last three I’ve seen. Especially because I’ve now had to turn down or cancel a few photoshoots. Who knew finding competent doctors was this hard? I think it’s especially difficult with dermatologists because if you aren’t there for some expensive cosmetic thing, they don’t care. Actual medical problems, where is the money in that? Crazy!

Oh, also recently I have stopped using CNN as my main news website, as lately their commentary has been awful. They have one person in particular that I believe doesn’t have the journalistic ability or general insight of a small child, and while I know myself and other people have tried to comment on her articles, the only post ones from people praising her or saying things that have nothing to do with the topic at hand like “Puppies are awesome!” or “America iz 4cool prezidentz r lame”. Anyone know of any fairly middle/non-biased news sites? I already know of all the biased ones.

Halloween at Home

We didn’t go out for Halloween this year. Our friends in LA weren’t going anywhere cool, so we decided to stay home and hand out candy. We also carved pumpkins, which I haven’t done in ages. Mine was a Totoro pumpkin, because I’m weird like that.

With all this awake time, I feel like I should be getting more done! Though, I’ll be off the steroids after this weekend so maybe then I’ll sleep normal hours. Until then I will sit and ponder why I can’t find an eyebrow pencil that is light enough for my eyebrows. 

Sleepless in Las Vegas

Well, I’m going on 48 hours with only 8 hours of sleep. I’m back on steroids again for my weird systemic skin rash which has now made it’s home on my forehead. No where else, just my forehead. Luck - I has it. So anyway, whatever dose I’m on for my prednisone, it causes insomnia to the extreme. Which is really weird for me, because I usually sleep about 10 hours a night. It also kills my appetite which is not cool. But not needing to eat or sleep is kinda like a superpower.


At least I’m using this to my advantage as much as I can. I’m going to be writing for my good friend’s fan blog, Fandomania.com. I’ll be covering cosplay, anime, video games, and the like. My first little article is up now, so go check it out! I’m always open to suggestion for stories and things you guys want to hear about. I have some cool interviews lined up already so be sure to bookmark Fandomania if you haven’t already.


Also I got some modeling photos from a while back, so definitely check those out as well. They’re pretty fancy, and from a time when my forehead was not covered in death!


I’m slowly but surely working on my next costume. I’m still unsure just how well this armor is going to turn out, but I should know soon. I can’t wait until months from now when these costumes will be done! My dream costume will be complete, and then I can quit! Ha! (Not really, that would be stupid.)


I hope everyone has a lovely Hallows Eve. I don’t know what I’m doing, as it’s usually my night away from costuming.
