November 11, 2009 - Time to fly again.

My health hasn’t been the best lately, so that’s why I haven’t been updating nearly as much as I’d like to. But I have a ton of cool stuff coming up and soon I can tell all about it. But right now I’m getting ready for my trip to Orlando, Florida tomorrow. Two of my best friends (Jason and Celeste of Fandomania.com) are getting married this weekend and I am the best man! I’ve never been to Florida before, so it should be interesting.

Lots of things are going on, and I promise to write about it soon! Thanks everyone for all the nice messages as well. I <3 you guys.

October 27, 2009 - Hospital Heroin

Exciting weekend! Good and bad. The good was that we had a successful pumpkin party!  (Pumpkin makers in order from left to right: Case, Dylan, Julia, me, Kyle, Rob)

So everyone left by midnight. Then right as I was ready to go to bed, my stomach started hurting. And it was hurting above my bellybutton which isn’t where tummy aches usually happen to me. I figured it would go away on it’s own, but two hours later I was lying in bed screaming and crying in pain. So Rob eventually coerced me into the car to go to the E.R. I’m glad I went, because it took two shots of morphine and a shot of Dilaudid to eventually make the pain stop. I got lots of fun tests, but they couldn’t find anything wrong with me. So I was sent home, and luckily it hasn’t returned. Here are some photos I took with my phone after all the pain meds finally kicked in. Yes, I was twittering from my hospital bed. But to be fair, Rob was too.

So thank you to everyone who sent me well-wishes. I am feeling much better, so I think it was just a weird, one-time malady. I slept a lot on doctor’s orders, so today it’s back to work! <3

October 21, 2009 - I’m such a slacker.

So, I feel bad because I’ve been a total slacker. I was planning to get a bunch of photoshoots done over the past few weeks, but I’ve been turning down gigs instead. I know it’s because I’ve been focused on other projects, but I really should be making time for stuff that actually pays! Weddings don’t pay for themselves. I’d love to elope, but some guy named Rob says we have to at least have a party.

Also if you guys didn’t already know, I sometimes write for my friend’s site Fandomania. Right now I’m doing all the Dexter reviews for this season. I think the next one is up tomorrow, so check that out. Plus the site is just full of awesome original articles and reviews.

Halloween is coming up fast, and I still have no idea what I’m doing. At least my pumpkin party is this weekend, so we’ll have some fancy jack-o-lanterns.

October 16, 2009 - WTF is sexy cupid?

I got into a discussion about Lady Gaga with Kyle the other day. We have different opinions. I’ll speak no further on the subject.

I was expecting to be working on a new costume, but I had to order the fabric online, and I still don’t have it. You’d think they’d have the colors of pvc I need here in Vegas.

So last night I was at Frankie’s Tiki Room for the release of the calendar I’m in. I have a few copies that I’ll be giving away via Twitter and Facebook. Frankie’s and the Double Down Saloon are really cool bars actually. I don’t really drink or anything, but Rob was excited to find some decent bars here in Vegas. October 13, 2009 - The only rock is rock and roll

In case you haven’t kept up with my twitter, the big news in my life is that it was my birthday and I GOT ENGAGED. People have been asking already to see the ring or “rock” as some have put it. Sorry, guys but no rocks. I don’t like rocks. I don’t own or wear any jewelery except for the tiny rings in my ears. I am allergic to most metals and I’m just not a jewelery person. Plus I think it’s a complete waste of money for something that I’m just not into. What can I say, I’m not a girly-girl so Rob got off easy! So I just have a nice plain band until we choose/design our matching wedding rings which will be super-cool.

I’m so very excited! And thank you to everyone for all the congrats and birthday wishes. <3

So that’s really all that’s gone on with me other than my health being lame. This weather is killing me. Oh yeah, I’ll be on a radio show tomorrow night for something to do with the calendar I’m a part of. I’ll have more on that later, and hopefully a copy to show you guys soon. I haven’t seen it yet either!

I should be getting my fabric for my next costume soon, so maybe I’ll have some progress on that soon.
